General:

Geoff Scharer's brewery at the historic George IV Inn at Picton has been in production since 1987, making it one of the oldest pub breweries in Australia. A small range of all-malt, unpasteurised and unfiltered (naturally carbonated) beers is produced.

Beers:

Scharers Lager (5.0 %)
A traditional German-style lager, fermented at 7-9°C and lagered at 4°C for 4-6 weeks. The storage produces a soft, natural carbonation. Full-bodied with high bitterness and hop flavour and a dry finish. Hoppy aromatic nose. Available on draught or in 780 mL champagne-style bottles.
Burragorang Bock (6.4%)
Brewed in the same manner as Scharer's Lager, Burragorang Bock is a sweet, rich, full-bodied beer with coffee and chocolate notes. Available on draught or in 780 mL champagne-style bottles
D'Lite (3.0%)
A low-alcohol beer, but relatively full-bodied for its strength. Available only on draught at the brewery.
