The Norfolk Island Brewing Co., consisting of a brewery, bar and bistro, opened in June 1994. The brewing equipment was relocated from the former Eaglehawk Hill Brewery near Canberra. The owner and brewer Richard Woodward has a range of three staple products.

Beers:

• Beesting (3.9%)
  A light, refreshing beer which is made with some local honey and a new Saaz hop variety from New Zealand.
• Mutineer (4.7%)
  A bottom-fermented dark lager, with some crystal and black malts and four types of hops.
• Bligh's Revenge (5.5%)
  This porter is a more sedate version of Woody's original 7% blaster.
