The former Hahn Brewery in inner city Camperdown has now been reopened as the Malt Shovel Brewery
The popular Hahn brands outgrew their original home and are now being produced at the giant Toohey's
brewery at Lidcombe. Dr Chuck Hahn, who started the Hahn Brewery in the late 1980s, is back at the helm
in his old brewery but now under a new name. The first beer from the Malt Shovel Brewery,
James Squire Original Amber Ale, was launched late in 1998.
