The tiny Happy Goblin Brewery at Mount Kuring-gai, on Sydney's northern outskirts, has been licensed and in operation since November 2006. Its products first went on sale about June 2007. Happy Goblin is the creation of Colin Larter, a home-brewer whose system outgrew his garage. How housed in a much more spacious warehouse, the approx. 60 (yes, sixty) litre microbrewery produces a small range of unfiltered and unpasteurised ales which are sold in bottles and 18 litre kegs.
