Brewing commenced at the historic Bell's Hotel in 1988, and since the closure recently of the Redback Brewery in North Melbourne and the Geebung Polo Club in Auburn, Bell's is presently the only pub-brewery in Melbourne. Bell's beers are all produced without sugar or extracts.

Beers:

  • Best Bitter ( %)
    An all grain brew, this is Bell's flagship beer.

  • Real Ale ( %)
    Displays delicate fruit character of mandarin and apple.

  • Irish Stout ( %)
    A classic Irish extra stout, but more malty and aromatic than Guinness.

  • Black-ban Bitter ( %)
    A traditional pale ale style with good bitterness and refreshing citrusy/floral hopping.

  • Octoberfest ( %)
    A high alcohol, malty lager-style beer. Seasonal

  • Xmas Ale ( %)
    A spiced ale. Seasonal

  • German Wheat Beer ( %)
    In the style of a traditional German Hefeweizen. Occasional.
