General:
After six years in business, Auroras microbrewery, bar and restaurant changed hands early in 2005 and has now emerged from a major refit as The Brewhouse brewery, sports bar and grill. The Brewhouse, which is conveniently situated in the heart of Brisbane's CBD, had its formal opening on 1 July. As the new name suggests, owners Grant Clark and Michelle Beel have made the brewery and its products a more central part of the operation than previously; Grant has even taken on the role of brewer.

Beers:
When AGBD visited The Brewhouse recently, there were five house beers on tap, with a sixth (Midnight Extra Stout) soon to emerge from the conditioning tank. See the brewery website for further details.
